The 502-type newsboy cap was created as an evolution of the 575-type cap with its vertical silhouette.
In addition to wearing it forward, there are other ways to wear a newsboy cap, such as upside down, and this 502 model was designed to be worn upside down.
The 575 model inevitably has extra volume at the rear, which causes vertical wrinkles.
This was one of the characteristic silhouettes of the rounded, voluminous newsboy cap, but with the 502 model, we cut down that unnecessary volume to the bare minimum, and by reducing the volume on both sides accordingly, we created a newsboy cap that fits the head like a cap.
This cap is being heavily promoted as a new genre of sporty and casual style that is not found in the large, classic style newsboy caps.
