6 PANEL CAP / C&F GABARDINE / ECRU
¥8,800
At CPH, we’ve produced basic BB CAPS using a variety of plain fabrics such as Typewriter, Ventile, and Giza Cotton.
For the 2024 Spring/Summer season, we’ve created a simple BB CAP using a medium-weight cotton and linen blend.
This season, we used a fabric called FLAX & COTTON DYED GABARDINE. It’s dyed with pigments and has a vintage-like texture thanks to a washer finish applied to the raw fabric.
The moderately thick fabric is woven in a tightly structured gabardine weave. It features a dry touch that blends the natural softness of cotton with the crisp firmness of linen.
To take full advantage of the fabric’s properties, we added interlining only to the forehead area, keeping a clean and structured front silhouette.
While traditional baseball caps—rooted in sportswear—usually have six embroidered eyelets (kiku-ana), this one intentionally omits them to give a more refined, grown-up feel.
At the back, a matte black buckle and decorative black eyelets add a special touch to the design.
And one of the main reasons this cap is so popular is its slightly deeper shape. It provides excellent coverage and a snug fit, offering a strong sense of stability and a very comfortable wearing experience.
