At CPH, we’ve created basic BB CAPS using a variety of plain fabrics such as Typewriter, Ventile, and Giza Cotton.
For the 2024 Spring/Summer season, we produced a simple BB CAP using a medium-weight cotton and linen fabric.
This season, we used a fabric called FLAX & COTTON DYED GABARDINE. The fabric is dyed with pigments and features a vintage-like texture thanks to a washer finish applied at the raw fabric stage.
With a moderate thickness, the fabric is woven in a dense gabardine structure. It offers a dry touch—blending the natural softness of cotton with the crisp firmness of flax (linen) in perfect balance.
To make the most of this medium-weight material, we applied interlining only to the forehead area, maintaining a clean and sharp front silhouette.
Typically, baseball caps rooted in sportswear design feature six eyelets, but this cap intentionally omits them for a more refined, grown-up look.
Additionally, the back is finished with a matte black buckle and black decorative eyelets, adding a special touch to the rear view.
One of the key reasons behind this cap’s popularity is its slightly deeper shape. It fits securely over the head, offering excellent stability and exceptional comfort when worn.
